Principal’s Message

Mahiala Kala Mahavidyalaya, Umred (Dist Nagpur ) is the only women’s college in Umred, established in 2000. Umred is a Tahashil Palce, 50 km away from Nagpur .
The college is situated in the middle of the town in Mangalwari peth umred. Mahila Kala Mahavidyalaya is run by a distinguished Managing body with the name of “Academy of Arts and science,Umred ”under the experienced leadership of president Shri Sanjayji Dani and secretory Shri Madhukarrao Joshi and other members of the Academy. The Academy Motto “Sahana Vvatu…….”Means(Lets study together,work together ….).This noble thought always inspires us to work.
We offer education in Arts Stream with Marathi medium. We have multiple choices of subjects including Marathi literature and English literature. Academy calendar of the college is full of activities related with students Annual ‘Sharadotava’ is the main attraction for the students we arrange various competitions during this festival. We are equally progressing in sports, NSS ,activities etc. We have highly qualified faculties and expert non teaching staff.
Along with my staff here we work for the best as per our motto “Lets work together for the excellence’of the college.
